Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has a nautical theme of the New England Yacht clubs. It opened November 5th, 1990, alongside its sister resort Disney’s Beach Club Resort, both sharing the ample amenities, including the 3-acre pool complex, between the two. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is an Epcot resort, residing close by it with an entrance located between the England Pavilion and the France Pavilion in Epcot’s Showcase. It is situated on Crescent Lake opposite of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a deluxe resort where the average room is 380 square foot that easily sleeps up to 5 adults, with rates starting at $ 402.00 (excluding tax) depending on the season. There are 621 rooms at the resort, which includes Club Rooms and Suites. The rooms are decorated in nautical colors of whites, navy blues, and tans, with dark wood accents. Guests at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort have access to 4 total pools, the 54,000-gallon Admiral pool is situated in a quiet area by the tennis courts at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The 43,000-gallon Tidal pool is located at the far end of the Disney’s Beach Club Resort in a garden area, the 55,350-gallon pool is located at the Villa’s. The forth pool, Stormalong Bay is located right between the two sister resorts with close access for all guests.

Stormalong Bay is a 3-acre water park that features a 230-foot-long waterslide, a lazy river, and an area with a sandy beach. It also has mini-slides for children in the Shipwreck pool. Stormalong Bay has something for everyone from swirling waters to float on inner tubes, to relaxing swimming, and 3 spas to unwind in.

The Flying Jib Slide is one of the highest slides at Walt Disney World Resort and usually finds itself at the top of any best Disney waterslide list. At its base is where you’ll find the kids pool with the small slide.
